Nancy’s Fancies specializes in personalized service and delicious custom-designed cakes. Nancy Kux has been making her distinctive desserts since 1978. “Baking has always been my passion. When I couldn’t convince a baker to make a chocolate wedding cake for my own wedding I got the idea of providing other brides with the cake of their dreams.” Seven years later Nancy’s Fancies was born. My staff and I are there to listen and guide you through each buttercreamed step until your unique cake is on display at the reception. Our cakes are inspired by wedding gown designs, invitations, table linens, seasonal fruits and flowers, and even cherished family recipes. We provide an unusual number of frostings and flavors always using the freshest of ingredients. We’ve done elegant and formal as well as fun and casual. Art Deco to African basketry. A cascade of sea shells to a forest scene topped by sugared bird’s nests. Traditional Chinese symbols to a two foot replica of the Arc de Triomphe. The one thing all our cakes have in common is how good they taste. Your guests will "ooh" and "ahh" over the design and savor each delectable bite. Our clients frequently say that it’s not just the best wedding cake they’ve ever eaten but the best cake, period.
